Biscuits and Gravy

The ultimate comfort food! Biscuits and Gravy!!! Here are the items you will need:

1/4 to 1/2 Pound Pork Sausage - I prefer Bob Evan's
2 Tablespoons Butter
2 to 3 Tablespoons Flour
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/8 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 1/4 to 1 1/3 Cup Milk
1 Can Pillsbury Grands Biscuits (I bought the can with 5 biscuits)

***NOTE:  This recipe can be doubled.  The recipe as it is makes enough gravy for approximately 4 biscuits depending how much gravy you like on them.

Heat oven to 350 degrees for the biscuits

Brown the sausage.  Drain if necessary.


Add butter and stir til melted

Add Flour, Salt & Pepper and stir well
Good time put the biscuits in the oven!!!!

Gradually add the milk and keep stirring/whisking until the mixture comes to a boil.  You will feel the mixture start to thicken.  Turn the heat down to low and keep stirring occasionally until your biscuits are done!


Serve the gravy over the biscuits!!!
