Let's talk about meat!!! I like it to be fresh...ZAYCON FOODS is the BEST!!!

Bacon....Chicken....Ground Meat.....ohhhhh....love them all!!!  About two years ago I heard about a company named Zaycon Foods that delivers FRESH meat to my town!  What???  Fresh you say?  Yup!!!  Well, I just had to give it a try since the item they were offering up at the time was BACON....and for me BACON = MEAT CANDY!!!!  The price was right...heck, it beats the price of Oscar Mayer at the store if it's not on sale.  I mean, yikes....Oscar Mayer when it isn't on sale is 5 bucks a pound!!!  That's insane.  This stuff is under 4.00 a pound.  One catch...I had to order 36 pounds!  WOW...wasn't sure we could go through that much (we did!).  OMG...it's sooooo good...and fresh!!!  We've also tried the Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts....they are big and NO ADDED HORMONES, ADDITIVES, or ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS!!!  The Ground Meat is amazing too....93% lean and it's fresh.
    
So, here's how it works....

1.  Zaycon has different products at different times of the year.  You place your order and you are given a date and time to meet the driver in your town.  They come with a semi truck!!!

2.  On the day of pick up, you go to the pick up spot (usually a parking lot somewhere in your town) and you pull up next to the semi.  A nice worker comes to your vehicle and you show them your receipt. 

3.  You pop your trunk and THEY load the meat into your vehicle.  They lay down extra plastic and everything so there are no spills (I've never even had anything leak).

4.  That's it...you go home with your purchase and start bagging it up to freeze.

Okay...so it's a lot of meat.  You have to order in bulk.  For the Bacon, it's 36 pounds.  For the boneless skinless chicken breasts it's 40 pounds, and for the 93% lean ground beef it's 40 pounds.

Don't have room in your freezer?  Split the order with someone!  There are groups on Facebook, etc for different areas where people are willing to split orders.  I have a deep freezer so it's not an issue.  Also, I bought a foodsaver when I started buying from this company (totally worth it).

I'm not sure about the rest of the country but for me, there is Chicken coming in October and Bacon coming in November.  They are taking orders now for both of those. There are other products available and it differs from region to region.  You'll be able to check your area and see what is offered.  Once you register you can choose to have them email you as products become available (they don't spam you either!)
